Education is undoubtedly the only means which can bring a transformative change in our society over the next few generations. Educating people helps create a society that is aware, informed and capable of taking change into its own hands.

Along-with its affiliated educational institutions, education remains the core focus area of Ekata Manch.

Past & Current Initiatives:

• Constructed a community hall for multipurpose use for mentally challenged children at Wai, Satara
• Constructed a Primary School at Waksai, Lonavala and subsequently handed over operations to Gram Panchayat Devgadh.
• Donated a sum of INR 15 lakhs to Kalse Dhamapur Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Kalse Trust for purchasing school benches and furniture for underprivileged children.
• Constructed washrooms for boys and girls, water tanks and shed (roof top) for a secondary school and Junior College at Andhari Village, Satara for the benefit of students from economically weaker section of the society.
• Distribution of electronic equipment, uniforms, notebooks to schools in rural areas
• Organised seminar for Principals on NEP policy under the guidance of State Education minister, Mr. Ashish Shelar.
• Waived off school fees from the affiliated educational institute, Children Welfare Centre High School, for 3 months during the Covid pandemic.
• Free Education to be Imparted from KG to std 12th to the students who have lost their parents due to covid. An Initiative by Ekata Manch and Children Welfare Centre.

Future Initiatives in the pipeline:

• Set up a scholarship scheme for higher studies for deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds
• Set up a library with free membership to all students to encourage the habit of reading at an early age
• Set up a free career counselling centre to provide counselling to students to help them take appropriate steps towards their desired career goals
• Set up an Arts Centre with visiting faculty from the artistic fields to guide and nurture innate talents in children with exceptional skills in the dancing, singing, writing, photography, etc.
